My father married my mother in 1936 Frances Jane Brown their first daughter Rose Jane Brown died in 1938. Rose and my mother Frances are both on this site.

My dad was born in Shoreditch London, in his later years he was a Rag and Boneman, this is where i decided to write a book about Rag and Boning, the book is out today called " Rag and Boneman lost memories 1959 to 1966" traveling the streets on a horse and cart traveling thru the streets of London collecting many different items.

The famous words he sung out was "any old iron" and ringing his bell ( ding dong ) I came to know my father much later in his life from the year 1955 when I was born.

He was father to seven children, unfortunately my elder sister died long before I was born in 1938 ( Rose Brown )but what I have been told my brothers and sisters he was a hands on father always there if you wanted him, that I can truly say was true in the twelve years knew him up until the day he died, he was and still is sadly missed.

When he died my mother and his wife ( Frances Jane Brown ) who also died many years later in 1995.I will leave a poem in the memory Alfred Brown, A husband, A Dad, A Grandad and truly a man with many a thought for others and friend to all.

When the light begins to fade, the house has become unmade,
The house as lost its touch, in the dream we hold so much.
A bright star as risen in the sky, leavening us to say goodbye,
We feel the pain that’s hurts so much, leaving us without a touch.
Where ever the heart shall walk, the words he will never talk,
We miss him so much, so much we miss him we do.
To Alfred James Brown, you left us on the ground,
Rest in peace our dear Father, rest in peace. XXXXXXX

Angels hear my prey

Angels hear my prey, for our love ones who we care.
Has the years flicker away and new life comes to stay,
Always in the back of our minds we will always pray.
Sadly when someone’s dies another star is born,
Heaven as another that light that shines upon.
Our hearts bear the lost and pain and the sorrow,
In the internal light that humans that will follow.
Angels hear my prey, for our love ones who we care.
I cannot bear the answer to where that life as gain,
Only the lost that’s felt by all who knew their name.
In the tears for the lost of one we have knew,
Heaven forgive us if we are not coming thru.
We feel the pain and the lost but nothing makes sense,
Why can’t we understand that pain and sorrow as its dents.
Angels hear my prey, for our love ones who we care.
In what we say, we never change the way they have gone,
But we need them to no, say that all our life will carry on.
Please, please we remember you, we will do in every way,
You are the one we have lost upon that sad, sad, sad day.
One day when we all shall be together
In the next life god let it be forever.
Angels hear my prey, for our love ones who we care.
